I've had mine for 2 yrs and absolutely love it! I, too, have sewn tons in those two years....sometimes I think MORE than I ever have in all my life combined, and it's holding up SOOOO well!!!

I just sold my Platinum to a friend for $250. It is a good machine. I just replaced it with a Featherweight that was "free to me" so didn't need the Plat.......still a good machine and if one needs all the 60 stitches it contains, a good deal.....
