It's her FIRST! She came to visit us during Spring break. She's 15. i tried to figure out what to do to keep her busy. We stopped at a quilt shop and I got her fabric to do a pillowcase. Within 3 days she made SIX!!!! (used my stash!!!). When I first asked her if she would like to make a pillowcase she said "I don't know how to sew".....I said it was time to learn!!! LOL She SO enjoyed it I asked her what she wanted to do next....she said "a quilt -- this one". Well, I was nervouse, but she's doing awesome! I showed her the technique for each section, explained the 1/4" stitch rule and have to hand back only a few for resewing!!! (out of 100 pieces I think!!!) Yes...for a girl that's having trouble in school.....she's been amazing! She's like her gramma.....if you give me simple stuff, I'm bored and do a crappy job. Give me detail and challenge, and I go for it! I think this is going to blow her mother's mind!!!!!
