This is single strand silk. Helen´s work is first of all drawn on silk by her and then filled in.. This is the same lady who did the mushrooms

Beautiful work. I love the yellow bird one! I like how the one mushroom was hand quilted--I saw a spider web. Am I correct? Just lovely work. Thanks for sharing.

The whole picture is hand quilted and when you actually see it its so beautiful, yes there is a spiders web and the caterpiller in the other one actually has hairs on its back. thee is a dragonfly too.
