    Today was group sewing day here in Vi˝uela Spain.

    Some very unusual things appeared so I thought I would share them with you.

    the silk Cacoons will be incorporated into some Fabric Tecniques

    One of our members is leaving to go back to England to live so this is her parting gift. i love it and I am sure she will treasure it

    Yes thats what they look like in the raw state. I believe she soaks them and opens them out. I have seen some work she has finished with the last lot she had. Her husband has just come back from Thailand so that was her present.

    Wow, silk! And silk cacoons! I'd really like to see what you do with those. I love the projects. It's so wonderful and interesting to see what others are doing, particularly from outside USA. It's nice to be connected in thread (and silk) :)

    Its just two pieces of fabric, one slightly smaller than the other and machine scalloped and then I think what she has done is paint the flowers, not quite sure.

    Gee, everything is written in English... no Espanol? Is that "blackwork" I see on the Grace's Room Designs? Everything looks wonderful, tell us more about your Guild, or Club... the sponsors, where you meet, etc.
