thanks for the great ideas....I may go with the warm wishes...just have to find a couple more coordinating colors :thumbup:

Warm wishes will look great with the fabrics you all ready have. 3 coordinates with a focal (the cute doggie faces) Another, similar doggie faces to alternate the focal blocks would be the only other fabric I would look for or maybe alternate with a solid black or red or white to really make the doggie faces stand out and give you an area to show off some fancy quilting in the plain blocks.

Don't stress over it, keep it simple. Just do a nine patch with sashing. Your fabric is cute.

You are not alone feeling frustrated when you feel things are just not coming together and then you just can't get going. The fabrics you chose are adorable. bright and cheerful. The first thing I thought of also, was the Downy quilt or Quilt For Kids pattern. I just made one of those for a baby shower and it was soooo much fun and so stress free to make. I have seen so many on the board and they are so cute. You have so much wonderful advice above. Good luck, and happy stress free sewing !!
