Many people have suggested using a soft artist's brush to clean lint out of the feed dog area and elsewhere. I couldn't find one I liked but "re-discovered" a make-up brush that looks like a tube of lipstick. Turn to get to brush, clean, turn to stow the brush. It's also the right size for storing in the machine's attachment box.

Hah ... these are my "rules" too ... Esp. the chocolate !! I simply can't cut, sew or quilt if I'm out of chocolate :)

THIS is what I've been doing wrong!

I usually sew until I make a major mistake...as in, I should have stopped long ago. But perhaps the chocolate will fix things!

The subject T-square how do you actually use it. Do you have a picture how to use it. I looked it up.

do you use the long measuring on the side you cut and the handle looking thing on the fold.

That's a good question and I'd like to know the answer, too.

Its shaped like a "T". I place the "T" end flush with a straight edge, such as the table or cutting mat. Then just cut along the long edge. I wouldn't use a metal T-square -it could ruin your rotary cutter. The one I use has plastic on the long edges.
