    My mom passed out while ironing - the back of her arm is one big iron shaped scar :(

    LOL,when i first mooved here, i had one of those small table top ironing boards and had it on the floor, my sister used it to iron my curtains and burnt her knees LOL

    ouch! i ironed my wrist once as a teenager. had a brown area for years.

    We forget how hot they get sometimes...I'll bet there aren't many here who haven't burned themselves at least once! ;-)

    I grabbed the hot iron as it was heading for the floor. Needless to say, I let go and the iron hit the floor anyway (with a fair amount of my DNA attached)

    I have a lovely upside down "happy face" between my breasts from flipping the bread pan, fresh out of the bread machine...it flipped too far and my chest stopped it. :( Apparently irons aren't the only hot things around.

    Been there. Only I was sitting down with just my nighty on and pressing a quilt block. It wasn't my stomach but rather one of the old girls that had rolled out to the edge of my belly. LOL

    A couple months ago I dropped a hot curling iron in my cleavage.

    YUP! I have done this too, thats why ironing clothes in my house is banned! I never burned myself ironing fabric, so we are good on that! One more thing, dont ever fry bacon naked !
