I really like the idea of "framing" the quilt with a border. I think I would use a color from the quilt.

My vote is to add a border, otherwise I think it would look unfinished, like you just got that far and stopped. Love the bright colours.

I vote for the white on white border...that would frame it so beautifully!!

I think a border would set this quilt off beautifully. Nice work!

Love your quilt so far. I like the idea of a border, but I am not sure what I would use. I know that you will come up with a solution.

I have this same honey-bun. I used it to make the jelly-roll quilt. I bordered mine with a narrow dk. green and then a wider light green batik. It depends on which color you want to emphasize. I pulled out the green.

I cut mine when I got to 8-strips wide. I really like yours with the smaller blocks. I think I'll try that size next. What size did you end up with? Did you use all the strips?

Some of the strips in the roll are polkadots. I think that would look nice if you used a multicolor polkadot on white.

I used every strip and had zero waste or left over. I will go ahead and do the white on white tone border and then bind with the pink fabric that has some white polka dots on it. I intuitively knew it needed a border. I just didn't want to do it:< Sometimes you need a push to get off your rear end. Each block is 5 strips. so the blocks finish off at 5 inches.

I have 3 more of these honeybuns to use. I'm going to try and do a different pattern for each one.

Love it!!!! Don't you just love Moda fabrics, I certainly do. Can't wait to see your quilt with the border.

I think a ppink border would set it off. Love the quilt.
