    Check out the tutorial by cutebuns for OBW or one block wnoder...don't recall the exact title. I have the pieces cut, but not stitched together yet...too many others that have a specific date needed done by and this one's for me!

    I have done several stack and whacks. You need to have the flat head flower pins and pin a lot through all the layers matching the fabric in the layers. Then when you whack you get perfect pieces all the same. It is lots of fun to see the final outcome. Just pick out a fabric that has a bold design. I have done an animal and a football quilt.
