I have a Brother and PE Design 7. I get a lot of patterns from Artistic Threadworks or http://www.artisticthreadworks.com/public/main.cfm

They offer several freebies and I think their prices are reasonable. They have tons of designs and I have never had a problem with them. If you are a member, you can download the patterns for free. They also have a newsletter if you are interested.

I also have a brother embroidery machine and I have purchased from http://www.juliasneedledesigns.com and Betty's Original Embroideries.

Yahoo also has embroidery design groups that when you join, the designers share their talent with members with free designs that are posted to the group.

I also like Oregon Patchworks and Embroidery Library.

Hi, Check out the magazine Designs in Machine Embroidery, they post their recent back issues on line and when you go through the pages, there are little bumble bees to click on which will show you MANY freebies to down load, the plus is you get to evaluate a lot of different digitizers out there and focus on who has the type of stuff that you like. Once downloaded, you need to interface with your ped basic to save to a card, or if your machine accepts it you can download directly to a flash drive,, (which I love) Hope this helps, Pat :) :) :)

    Try These:

    http://www.free-embroidery-designs.com/freedesignsblog/

    http://freeembroiderystuff.embroider...ckdesigns.aspx

    http://www.secretsof.com/embroiderytips/freedesigns.htm

    http://www.freewebs.com/cartoonembro...abcdesigns.htm
(this site has amazing design sets VERY inexpensive)

With PED, you aren't downloading directly from the site to the card, you are downloading to your computer, unzipping the file and putting it in a folder. Then when you use PED you will go into the folder and download the design onto PED from there.
