Good thread as I'm considering starting one. I've got the Penny Rug die for my Studio and it's sitting there looking at me. I've happened on some wool yardage lately. Like 3 or 4 yards for $1.50. Wonderful fabric. I've washed and dried to felt it up so it's ready to go. I just need to decide if I'm going to follow a pattern or wing it.

    Hey,
I was at the Dorr Mill store today! I got a kit for a needle pack thing that will have a chickadee on it and a bundle of 6" X 8 " pieces of wool and an off white piece.

I'd love to see you all at Quilted Threads sometime....

Oh, Lots to do - just checked that Chickadee kit, its really a great little project! Quilted Threads would be a great meeting place for any board members that live in the area.

I have been considering this too...went to a local thrift store the other day and wondered after looking at the many "coats" of wool available...how do you know about the fabric in them if there is not a tag that says wool or wool blend..
