    I have a question ladies.

I have made some blocks and am wondering whether others are signing them with their location only or including their name.

I was thinking the same thing myself...

I am going to put a small comment of comfort, my town and country... but I wasn't sure about my real name (obviously they won't know about this board - so I can't use my "label" here).

It don't feel comfortable writing my name. For some reason it doesn't feel right. But then if I was a recipient of a quilt - I think I would want to know cared???

I'd love to know what other people think too.

Maybe just a first name and no surname.

I decided just to put my town and country. I didn't want to put down so many words that it detracted from the heart :)

Shirley's blog is a little difficult to navigate - so if you loose her address - you can find it here: http://shirleygoodwin.blogspot.com/2...ng-hearts.html

Thanks everyone - I really appreciate your support.

Thanks for posting this. It was terrible news from Pike River, news we were all hoping would not happen.

You guys are amazing. I watched the news tonight and saw the flames coming out of the mine. Not a good sight, and my heart goes out to the families as it looks doubtful if the bodies will be recovered.

    Back to the sewing machine!

I've just read an update from Shirley. She states ...

A bakers dozen will go out in the mail tomorrow. Hummmm, hope it doesn't take too long to get there!

I didn't sign my name; just put this: HUGS from Oregon City, Oregon USA.

What a very sad tragedy. Hopefully, the quilts will bring some smiles to those dealing with the loss of a family member.
