    I've tried flannel, flannel-backed tablecloths and batting. I like batting the best.

    I had a twin mattress and box spring that I needed to keep close by for guests. I put it on end, side by side and draped the flanel like fabric over it. If I need the bed, I roll up the fabric and the bed is ready in less than 3 minuts.
