You had your first one 'almost' giving the outline of the state of Texas. I loved that it was doing that.
Do I like your layout? Honest? I love your layout!
I really do like it a lot.

Thanks so much for all the encouragement from everyone. If you haven't tried this yet, you really should. Lot's of examples on the board from k3n, Katine, cutebuns and others. All of these ladies have been an inspiration to me.

Ah! No wonder I love it so much! It's from a paisley fabric and I love paisleys. I really like the way the cubes seem to float above the background.

I like the fabric too, can't wait to see it finished :-D . The ladies on this board were an inspiration to me too, don't think I would have attempted one otherwise.
