Thanks Sue Wilson. Of course, "chocolate"! (I knew there was something missing in my quilting room!)

I got large screw on “nuts for large bolts” at surplus city they are about 3 ½” across and 2” high they are wonderful for pattern weight. They are heavy enough to hold fabric and easy to pick up.

I have a question about using magnets. Aren't they bad to use around the computerized machines? There have been a lot of great suggestions in this thread. Thank you everyone for contributing. Joyce in DE

How do you use a fork to make pleats?

Lot of the above, also Qtips for cleaning around the feeddogs (after taking off throat plate) and behind bobbin

Also wooden pancake spatula to help "stick" the blocks to my design wall - I'm short and can't reach the upper part without help. My design wall is a large Warm and Natural batting thumbtacked onto the wall.

I also saw a blog recently (whose?) where she used a toilet brush (new of course!) to clean the threads off her desugn wall. I want to try that

I put bed lifters under the legs of my cutting table so I wouldn't have to bend over so much. Works wonders for me.
