60 years plus fairly new quilters.

I was 24 when I started quilting, but I think a lot of people don't quilt so young because at 24 they are still too busy getting settled into your life to take up hobbies. I married at 20, had a baby at 21, and by 23 I was a stay at home Momma. Even now at 30 I think I'm probably too busy to be a quilter, but I fell it love with it and so I make time. All of my quilting friends are in their 50's or 60's though! ;)

Oh, you kids. Wait till you're 83. It's really not bad. Only problem is family has a tendency to think I'm senile which I'm not but they're learning. Still live in my ten room house, became a master gardener six years ago, travel, make my own clothes, have two cats, two dogs and several other hobbies. Oh, and I love quilting and PP. Senile? I don't think so.
