This just gets the creative juices flowing - work on each section just like you quilt - one block (aka section) at a time and wala! Looks beautiful....

Wow Debbie, it looks like you were a whirling dervish / tornado when doing your search! You ARE brave to share with us, LOL

But I know exactly of what you speak. I've turned my sewing area into a mess while desperately looking for fabric, or lost item, and then had to clean it up. NOT fun.

sometimes it seems that we can't find something when our area has been reorganized either... and that IS frustrating.

Good luck to you in reorganizing your stash and sewing room!

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA

OMG Debbie! I can laugh because I'm goin through the same thing. We just about have my "play house" finished so I have been going through my craft room and am moving everything in it except my sewing. It is driving me crazy. I can't wait to get both organized so I can play. You will have to come over and play with me. While reorganizing keep me in mind. I need black, white and red and bugs. Good Luck!

My DH thinks my room is chaotic. Do you mind if I show him your photos??? Maybe he'll lay off me for awhile. Good luck with the clean up!

We moved (partly) and now have the sewing room jammed with stuff and more to bring from the old house when we can figure out where to put it. It looks kinda like yours, Deb for now. I am trying to sew my way out and so far have done rather well but the mess is about to drive me up a wall. I'll keep at it. I have already donated a lot to family, quilt guild, thrift shops, etc. but may have to go through it all again and sort some more. I am used to sewing in disorganized chaos but this is ridiculous. At least I have plenty to do so shouldn't get bored!

(smiling) Debbie darling, I think you left me speachless. :) :) :) However I for one have done the very same thing in cleaning something. Sometimes you have to make a mess to really clean it. (((hugs))) where there is s will there is a way. :) Hang in there.
