I wish I could find cabinets with matching stools for $25 around here.

Cabinets are easy enough. Matching stools-not so much. That cabinet in the picture was made with better materials than anything you'll find at Ikea.

No one is selling anything here for 5 or 10 - definitely not at the thrift stores or yard sales - they add a few more zeros and double the numbers - many who are selling treasures or Grandmas's stuff quote epay and petsy in their ads. Sometimes I might get a good "find" at a reasonable price but I drive about 3 or 4 hrs to pick up - when I factor in the gas spent to get there and back I guess the bottom line is that I really wanted it so I was willing to pay - along with a day out and about with a bit adventure - never know what I might find on the way

This eBay auction may not be a laughing matter.

CD it sold for $59.99. I'd say someone got a great deal for those particular parts. I know I would have loved to have them for my 1903 model 27.

Here's an unusual one. A long bobbin Kenmore. I think it's the only one I've seen. Almost looks like a refurb.

Overpriced but nice. And no, it would not make a nice bar.
We had a pretty parlor cabinet; not quite as ornate as this one. My dad did turn it into a liquor cabinet. Sniff....

Holy Cow! And clean too! Worth more than it went for in my mind.

I have sold 403s with a cabinet and matching stool for under $100, but still had to sit on that for 6 months. A cabinet and stool with no machine would sit that long for me at $25. I agree it's better quality than Ikea, but it's also above Ikea's price for similar furniture.

If it was worth the gas, I'd say come get them whenever I have them. At one time I had 3 with stools and about 5 others without. I had a whole command center set up so that I could sort files and junk while I was cleaning up the basement to make space for the studio. The studio's been together for going on a year, and I just sold the last cabinet about 2 weeks ago.
