Last year I made table runners for a couple of my friends and they didn't say much about them. I thought that maybe I wouldn't make anything for them again. A couple of months late one friend approached me and asked if I would make quilts for her twin nieces. Something they could keep for a lifetime. I think people don't understand what it really takes to make a keepsake.

Such a snot she is, that would be the last gift I would ever even attempt to give her. I know your quilt will be truly loved at it's new home.

I had a similiar situation. Two Christmas' ago I made patchwork quilts for a niece and nephew (brother and sister). Years ago when they were little I made ice cream cones and can't remember the other one. So I thought they out grew the kiddy ones and made new ones. Neither one said a word about them. I aked him and he said he liked the label and asked her and she said yea it's ok.
Never again will they get guilts. People are rude.

that is a very happy quilt and so cute obviously not made for a snotty mother, she will probably dress her child in monkey's suit to go with her decor!
