Merced, CA Walmart
carries fabric. It's a small
part of the store, but they
have a nice selection. AND
the clerks are nice and very
helpful!!

Maybe we should ALL send email to the Wal Mart headquarters and tell them how DUMB we think it is, for them to take out the fabric dept. That was the main reason I went in there, and my hubby always ended up putting "stuff" in my buggy..so now they loose ME as a shopper PLUS my hubby as a shopper........and no more buggy full for us!! That is gonna cost them money in the long run, if all of us as quilters stop going in there as often. I know its been weeks since I have been there, and it used to be about once a week for me! Maybe it is saving me some money????

I heard that any Walmart that has a LQS within 25 mile radius will be losing their fabric dept.
The fabric dept. is where I head first. My Walmart is closing it's fabric dept. at the end of this month.
