Default Become the teaching network again

The name Home and Garden implies a learning experience for the reader or viewer. I am sick to death of real estate home sale shows. Show me how to sew to make new slip covers for my couch. Help me learn to make a quilt for my bed. With forclosures, job losses, people want to decompress and relax. Teach me to make the room I want with the fabrics I love and save money at the same time.

Quilting and sewing are big business - so what are you waiting for? Sponsors are out there.

My message in part to HGTV

Cindy

Our WM was chosen to have fabric & the store manager refused! So much for input! There is a great demand in our area for fabric. But I did put my input into HGTV.

Here's part of what I wrote:

I wrote to them also. I also mentioned the fact that so many volunteer time and material in donations and I mentioned the Quilts of Valor , etc. I said that we do spend $$ online and locally and deserve to have some quality programing.
We'll see what happens now. Maybe nothing but we will keep on trying.

FYI: I get Eleanor Burns a couple times a week on RFD TV. (Direct TV)

I will be happy to send them one. I also wonder about their sponsors?
