Ten of us have posted the fabric and colors we think we will use in this project. Of course, being women, we do have the option to change our minds as we begin the project..but we have set goals for ourselves by declaring our 'colors'. They are all so beautiful, I cannot wait to see them in this project. Good luck, everyone, may your colors talk to you in each and every block.

I haven't been on the board for sometime but today I was checking out the board and came across this post. Can
I be a spiker? I have just had shoulder surgery and I hope to be able to sit and sew by Sept or Oct. I checked out the blocks and they are super. I haven't done much PP but like what I have done. this will give me the drive to get back in the saddle. I have been having quilting withdrawal.

Ok ... I know the official start date is in Sep and we are to refrain from posting blocks until the Sept block thread starts but ....

some of us are starting blocks and I noticed a problem with the color coding on the block "Log Cabin Cones" (design #3). Yes I'm picking and choosing blocks because I'm not making all of them

So ... in the interest of those of us who may be working these blocks up before the official start date, would anyone (particularly Honchey) object if I posted the error here so nobody goofs??

BTW ... I did write to the Quilting On The Square folks about the error (mostly to confirm that I am seeing what I think I am seeing). Will update if I hear anything.

So I have picked from my stash some batiks I had forgot I have. Thinking I will use a white background...

I uploaded my picture but I am not sure if it pulled in. Hmmm...still new to the site for posting items.

Beautiful array of color; how delightful to work that into the pattern. You will have a wonderful quilt wall hanger or throw.
