Oh My, I love the yellow, it makes the other colors pop. I recently made a similar quilt and used a medium brown sashing, my niece's choice, anyway the whole thing just ran together. I should have used yellow.

Nooooooo, it's not ugly. I like it. But then, I love scrappy stuff. I'd be glad to get it as a gift.

Very nice and I love the yellow. I would not consider it too bright, compare the yellow in the bottom right block with your sashing and the difference is obvious. I would not like the brighter yellow - too gaudy with all your other colors. It tones down all the really bright colors and adds a soft touch.

I do not agree with your assessment, I love those blocks! Very cheery, brings an immediate smile to my face. An indicator that it makes me happy and will make others happy too.

The qiult happens to be very pretty, and I am sure whoever you made if for is going to love it. The yellow is not that bright, and fits in fine with all of the other colors.

ithink the yellow reallly sets the blocks apart! looks great. i like it. it doesn't feel 'yellow' with all the other prnts.
