    Default Treat

Got my "treat" wall hanging from lilrain today in the mail. Have to show all of you what she made for me and it's the perfect size that I can use it for a table topper too! Thank you so much. Don't think she has posted what I sent her so will post it also. I made it 2 sided so lilrain can use either side.

Started working on the "candles" theme today. I am going to have to have some back surgery next month so am making it for not any particular holiday, it can be used for anytime of the year. Need to get it done as I can't go up and down the stairs for at least a month. Poor hubby will be dragging stuff up and down, but he can only do so much. I do have a sewing room upstairs but all the fabric is down. Thank heavens I finally found a lady to clean my house, bless her soul.

Jaba - good luck with your surgery - here's an idea for your hubby - take a photo of your sewing/fabric stash, room and have it with you upstairs after your surgery so you can point out on the photo what you would like him to bring upstairs. Sounds kind of OCD but it might help in communicating what you need.

That sounds like a very good idea Dabbler. If you'd see my sewing room you'd know why. There is a lot to choose from. Hubby made me 3 more sets of shelves yesterday that I really needed so right now am completely re-organizing the whole room. Hope to get most of it done today.

I have my partner omacookie's DQ finished, since she just lost
her mom I told her to take as much time as she needed for mine.

But I am not sure if I she wanted us to send at same time or if
she would like for me to go ahead and send her the one I made.

I can't wait for y'all to see it I have to make 3 more one for my
brother and sil, my oldest daughter, and myself. I just need to find
more of the fabrics I used or something close to them because they
    went perfectly with the panels.

Lol. Same here, I had some of the fabric, but couldn't match one. I have 4 in the works like what I sent Elisabrat. I might even end up with one for myself. That's the only downfall to this swap, I have a hard time parting with some of them.
