I am honored to inspire someone to try EPP or La Pass. You have a great start on yours. Good job on your Y seams. I don't do them for fun but don't think they are that horrible

This was my 1st attempt at Y seams Afterwards, I played with the leftover fabrics to test my La Pass skills - this is my 1st attempt at a Rosette (not yet sewn) and will be my travel hand sewing project for the trip. Posting a pic here since Kassaundra's beautiful work is what has inspired me to try my hand at EPP

I love all of the fabrics presented for the Boom and am eager to get creative soon!

Pam, the quilt is looking great. The cornerstones seem to jump forward at you! Love all the beautiful blocks and fabrics. Don't know what I'd do after the 2" border, besides binding with one of the bright colors.

Christine, the pieces you made for your mother are so nice. She is bound to love them. Love your LaPass block too!

Wow! Pamela, your quilt top is so fun! Do you have extra fabrics? I think a piano key border (after the black) might be cool.

Ms Merkle, amazing start on your La Pass. My goal in life is to someday live on a sailboat, when that happens my secondary goal will be to make a La Pass quilt while living on my boat! Don't hold your breath!

I think that an inner border of black is good maybe also with cornerstones and then a solid black after that. You can lay it out and see what you think. For the outer border, I am not sure. It may be enough without a border. Maybe play with adding fabric and standing back.

On my fabric choice, it may be just for background and then have the quilter make any block they want for a boy approximately around age 9. There is a real need through my guild for boys that age and I think it will be fun to see what everyone chooses to do.

I wonder if I should do a thicker black if I’m not adding anymore borders?

First Joan the snow looks beautiful but I don’t mind your storm missed us at all. Pretty sure we will get hammered with a few nasty snowfalls before long. After all it’s Minnesota.

Pamela your top turned out beautiful, excellent choice of fabrics for cornerstones.

Christine very pretty gifts for your mother. Your LaPass is beautiful. Really want to try one but don’t think I have the patience.

Darcy Shannon I think your boy’s quilt idea is a great challenge.

    Hope I didn’t forget anything

My youngest granddaughter is coming over today to sew. Gave her a choice of a pillowcase or a quilt for her stuffed animals. Can’t wait to find out which she chooses. Stella is 8.
