I must ask goldendog2, are the teacups appliqued on? Love all the fabrics you used!

Yes, I appliqued the teacups, with pieces from lace doilies underneath them. Then, I stitched them in some places with gold or other poly threads. I do block swaps with several teacup lovers. We met by swapping monthly blocks, and we decided to continue by ourselves. So, I collect teacup fabrics to use in blocks for people who love them. I even got some teacup and tea pot fabrics from Holland, but I didn't use them in this table runner. Even though I'm not a teacup/pot lover, I get blocks made for me that I like this way!

The teacup applique is beautifully done! And then she quilted around each cup. Lucky me!

The post for the fall tablerunner swap is up. Some of you indicated in your reply to my checking-in message for the summer swap that you definitely wanted to be in the fall swap. Some were thinking about it. Some sent a separate PM, some did not. My mailbox has been pretty full (hey, if you want to get mail, organize a swap! )

Anyway, you may want to check this group activity link for the fall swap and make sure your name is on it if that's what you intended! I just want to make sure I kept everything straight.

Thanks so much, and have a great weekend!

Thanks so much for this beautiful tablerunner!! I love the fabric design - it will be perfect on an antique server in the dining room.
