These are awesome links. I have always admired Prairie Points, but had no clue how to make them. I think I might try this!

I LOVE making those quilts. In fact, I am on my 2nd one now. A Black & White one.
I always use ELMER'S WASHABLE SCHOOL GLUE. Just make sure it says WASHABLE.
I will ry to post a picture of the one that I made before this B7W one.

    Sorry, it's suppose to be
    B & W not B7W
    for black and white.
Did you see the pictures of the one I made????? It's brown and white????? And I think it goes really fast also.
    Sorry about that

BTW I have never done any of them like in the links show. I just cut my strips of fabric 3.5" X WOF, then cut them again into 3.5 X 3.5 squares, then fold & press them, using the Washable glue along the long side, to hold them together, using very little glue, then press again, even before the glue dries. Then use the glue to "tack" them to whatever you want, and then sew them down. Glue will wipe off the iron very easy. Then when you are all done & wash the quilt, the glue comes right out. Done.
I hope this helps. Let me know, please?

What is the trick to keeping all those layers from shifting while sewing? I did pin them but the centers of my squares are off kilter and the lower edges on some are sneaking out to show themselves. Is there a trick or some fail proof method to sewing these little buggers? The bottom fold shouldn't show should it? Thanks for any advice.
Our quilt shop also had a pattern for a 3D Pinwheel quilt. I have started it using 30's fabric. I guess I've been lucky because the ones I have done came out fine, I put it up some time ago and haven't gotten back to that quilt. Good luck. Cute pattern.
