A Soldier Story

Thank you, Doug! I am happy you were able to give a little bit back to the soldier....our daughter and her husband are both in the national guard, and have both had several deployments, and it warms my heart that you took care of one of America's finest!

Thank you for sharing your story with us. You and your family did an awesome thing caring for Sgt. Loving. My son is a Staff Sgt. in the Marine Corp. It's nice to know there are still kind people in our country. God bless you all.

Thank you for taking care of this soldier. He has taken care of us and our freedom, now it is our turn to take care of him. Did you happen to get his address in SC? I think since he has nothing he may need a quilt to sleep under.

I have tears in my eyes too. THANK YOU. My grandson is in Afghanistan now and I have never seen him in his uniform. He says he gets disrespect when wearing it in public. Can't understand some people. Thank you again. We need more people like you.

Me again. An upbeat story. My grandson went to a Toby Keith concert and stopped at a bar after with friends. When the bartender asked for id and saw his army id he said "come with me". Took him and friends into back room, met Toby Keith who thanked the men and bought them a beer.
