I'm with MadQuilter--I love the process. Piecing is my favorite part of quilting. Enjoy the journey-it's not a race. I love what you've done so far-great job.

It's going to be a lovely quilt. I also find blocks sometimes take longer to piece than I thought they would. Although we all have many quilts we want to make, we need to remember making quilts is not about seeing how many we can complete and how quickly but enjoying the process and the satisfaction of our own creativity.

if it was quick and easy to make a quilt, many more people would be doing it. it takes time to create beauty... and yours is very beautiful. hang in there

It is gorgeous ...... keep going. Scraping takes longer, but so worth it in the end.

It depends on the quilt. I've done some where I could piece the top in a couple of days and then I did a PPd top that took 4 hours just to do one block.

Your spider web quilt is gorgeous. I know it takes a long time, but, do it as you get more scraps. I make 4 and 9-patches as I'm working on another project. It's amazing how fast they stack up....and eventually be used in a scrappy quilt.
