No reason why. I think it's on everyone's discharge papers.

I have been doing some lap work, blanket stitching some applique...but I intend to learn more hand stitching now...

Thank you all for the well wishes. You would think two tiny little incisions wouldn't hurt that much, but they do...today is my third full day since surgery and I'm in just about as much pain. There is bruising around the incisions now and my steristrips have come off, so I just have bandaids on them, praying they don't get infected. Going for my followup on Tuesday :)

That is so funny. I had a hysterectomy about 3 years ago. That was not on my discharge papers. Good thing because in a couple of weeks that is just what I was doing, sewing.

When I had mine done 30 years ago I had one incision in my belly button. The pain after gave me a whole new respect for women who had cesareans. Didn't run a sewing machine but had a house and kids to take care of . I gave birth 3 days before the surgery.

You have a better doctor than I did. I had to take a vacation day because they said I didn't need to miss work, that I just needed to take it easy. I explained to them that I work in a door factory and our doors are extremely heavy. They told me to not over do it. Lol...I so wish I had your doctor. Hope you heal up fast.:) Take care.
