    Clearly beauty is in the eye of the beholder because I see gorgeous.....not ugly. Love that block.

    While the individual fabric may be ugly, the combination and block setting work wonders. Great job! :thumbup:

    I just thought of something!!! :shock: Maybe they are trying to teach you a lesson!!! "Even ugly fabric can be used to make a beautiful block!!" :thumbup: :thumbup: :D Just like the saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover," don't judge a fabric by its "ugly!" :lol:

    I'm not sure what you're seeing, but I love it. If that 'ugly' fabric is that mottled brown and green one, I love it. It reminds me of the fall, when the leaves change colour.
