    maggiebooboo, 1st I put on my don't get aggervated hat, then I cut my curves.

    :lol: No, really what I did was cut a stencil from stencil plastic, trace it onto the fabric or in my case, I just used my rotary cutter.

    I snipped the gold piece about every 3/8 inch and about 1/8 inch inward, then placed the pieces like this, then pinned it in 5 places and sewed it.

    And they really lay flat? That is all there is to it? I would think they would pucker. I will have to do some experements.

    By the way, I love the brown and gold fabrics that you picked out. It will turn out very pretty.

    Yes, when you iron them they lay flat because of the snipping.

    It looks like brown, but it is really black w/gold leaves. My camera is color blind sometimes. :lol:

    This fabric is beautiful and I love the pattern! You have done a beautiful job on this!

    For those of us wanting to try this pattern, Eleanor Burns "Quilt in a Day" has a great and simple way of creating the Drunkard's Path that will blow your mind. She starts with circles on squares and it's the color placement and cut that allows the pattern.
