Ohhh....you need to go shopping, buy fabric and ship it so it's waiting for you when you get home!!! You'll get your fix now and have fabrics from your trip to play with later.

Lots of quilters in the Provo area, and some cool shops!

Quick, find a local quilt shop. Browse, dream, and maybe pick up a small handwork project. Or if you absolutely must have a certain fabric(s), buy it and you can ship it home. Enjoy!!!

You need a souvenir of your trip....how about a pattern or some fabric from a quilt shop or two or three. Sure beats a coffee mug!

I too went on vacation without any projects, but compensated by visiting with some wonderful ladies at the LQS around Gatlinburg TN. It sure was fun to meet them and see what wonderful fabrics they had. Oh,and I did buy some beautiful fabrics that cured my fabric ache. Now I'm home and back with my stash!!!

Surely there is room in the trunk for a scrap or two.

You've learned your lesson. Next time make room for a project.

Next lesson. There are LQS everywhere. And it doesn't cost that much to drop it in the mail so its waiting when you get home.

Now enjoy your vacation. Provo is soooo beautiful.

You can always slip it into a large envelope and mail it home!

I drove to Euless, TX last week and I knew I was not able to sew, I played w/grandkids (best gift ever). But I was going through withdrawal so luckily I went shop hop in Colleyville, TX and Hen Feathers in Wichita, KS.
