They are very cute, no way could I have a pet for 3 yrs. and let them go. Good for you and them also. I could not foster anything, it doesn't take me long (a few seconds) to get attached to anything helpless and in need of a good home.

Oh dear...those cute faces are exactly why I can't "foster" way too cute! Everyone that came to my house would live here forever! I have to find more creative ways to help the shelters.

glad youre far away! Id take them both. My brother has half dozen strays at any given time. He's a OTR trucker so I get to take care of the, lol (he has no wife). The most we've had is 12. Plus the stray cats - we have 18 acres off road. All get their shots and are neutered asap!! BUT, they are mostly big dogs! We give away as many as we can - people are more likely to take one if theyre fixed.

He found a beautiful white peak on I95 just short of home, he stopped and picked it up, it was in the brush trying to run away, it couldnt walk and was very afraid and shaking and crying, dropped it off and I took it to the vet. It had a broken hip, and a microchip! The dog belonged to a girl from Ohio who was driving thru SC and had a real bad car accident. They flew her to the hospital and no one knew there was a dog. She kept asking for it and was very upset for it. The dog was missing for over a week when my bro found it. The boyfriend picked it up at the vets, we never saw it or heard from them after it went to the vet - I didnt know what happened til I called the vet myself next day after I took it there (I had to leave it to fix the hip, they found the chip after I left). Dont know if the vet fixed the hip for free, I never got a bill, but the kid took the dog in the bottom half of my cat carrier! My brother felt a little bad cus he really liked the dog, lol, so I know he would like some little stray, even 2! sharet
