Suddenly Last Summer - Kathryn Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor?

If I had a radio on I'd probably sew everything up askew. I am so prone to distractions. Maybe because I'm bored? Hmmm. Bring on that James Brown!!!

I can get old radio shows through my Roku. Great fun while doing any work. BTW, thinking of boring tasks, I listened to late night AM stations with 30-40-50s music while stripping wallpaper winter evenings. Didn't have reception in the daytime. :?:

We have Sirius and I love it. Shout is one of my favorites. Hard to sit still when that comes on.

I only have Sirius in the car and listen to 50's & 60's. Love those songs. At home through our TV cable I can get a channel and it's called Malt Shop which plays this era. Sure brings back a lot of memories.

In the last 3 hours I have cut all the strips for a lap quilt and sewn half of the strips together,. Right now I'm listening to Shout, Shout a little louder now---Anyone else remember these?

I get alot more done listening to music. Rock and roll really speeds up the old machine.

I have discovered Pandora - it's free and it's on the internet or, what I use, is the internet from my phone(I then plug my phone into speakers). I love to listen to the oldies when I'm sewing. I lose focus when the TV is on.

I use Netflix while I am quilting. I put on shows I want to mostly listen to and will sit back and watch for a short break from time to time.

But I do love my Sirius in the car, I drive a ton and love being able to pick out music I actually like on it. :)

Love soft quiet music ... my kids call it elevator music! Very relaxing to me!
