Not too long ago, I lost a new gadget between the LQS and home. I don't think it ever made it home. I searched the car...the bag with other stuff in it...my bags...everything. It was a tool to help with prairie points. I even went and bought another one. The first one is still MIA...

I'm one of those people who put something in a perfectly reasonable, easy to remember place ... I just never seem to remember where that place is but I know it's in a safe place

Yep, lose something every day in that silly room. I wanted my bias binder, got it out and can't find it.... Bought a new one, still haven't found the first one...

Yep...all the time! But, of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most ~ :D

I try to keep my sewing supplies organized so I put them in my large sewing basket when I buy them. So that way, when I use the last one, I put it on my to buy list.

Yes, just this week I lost my new Frixion pen and small ruler. The pen I found had rolled off the table and in behind the seat cushion on the chair opposite my sewing chair. Took me an hour to find it. The small ruler I looked high and low for, in every possible place I could think I had been. I gave up and mentioned it to my daughter the next day..."sorry Mom it's in my room I borrowed it" AAAAAAAh the only place I hadn't looked because I didn't want to invade "her" space.

There's way too much stuff, stuffed into very small sewing room, but blades? Nope.....Will have to buy some tomor when I'm in town.Of course,I'll find them when I don't need them.Grrrr at me. Some of this stuff has got to go!
Something that might help! I have a couple of those wooden tool type boxes, like Lowe's & places, sell before xmas. I keep all this kind of stuff in one, or try to, lol, & it sure helps. Just thought I might mention this.....

So true
It happens with household items too and always something dh says he could (???) Find in the barn... Or somewhere in house...but my life isn't long enough to wait for him to be in the mood to look for it
