    I learned this just recently. BQ stands for "big quilt". These patterns are for big prints. I have the BQ2 on my to do list.

    that is beautiful. BQ is the pattern name, from Maple Island Quilts I think. i did one in oriental but it's still only a top. I love that quilt. great colors!!
