    Make your brown border a different size than the white sashing then finish with the print.

    I would use just the brown. You don't want people to look at the border but at the quilt. Jeanniebelle

    Go with the brown, maybe use the top fabric as the binding and some on the back but not in the border

    I would stop your design with a small inner border of the brown (1 1/2- 2 inches) and then a wider border of your original fabric.
