    You ladies might want to check out this cover. It's a hard case that can also stand up like an easel. I used the heavy cardboard from the inside of a binder, as she suggests. I made one for my Kindle and love it. I also added a pocket behind the device for my M-Edge reading light.

    Brilliant! Now I'm going to have to make one for my Kindle that I love so much, it does need extra protection in the purse but the leather cases are around $50. This one would be much more reasonable, not to mention cuter.
