It is so wonderful that Penney will have a loving home in Ohio. Your photo made me call the guy from Craigslist and commit to buy Penney's fraternal twin: a 1948 99 hand crank. They are almost identical and now I know how nice she will be when all cleaned up! Penney is stunning, a real head-turner. I can't wait to bring mine home next Saturday.

At ebay, after I got notification of winning. I posted a note for the seller to Bubble wrap her well and make sure she was in a nice strong box. When the UPS man came, I had to sign for it and I made him stand there till I opened it. Told him it was something he may never have seen before and he was amazed at the machine (no he had never seen one like it) and she was packed tightly and securely. I paid $20.81 for the shipping part of the sale.

I have never seen one in a wooden case before. What does the sewing machine look like? Have fun sewing on her.
