I got one lately (not on the quilting board) that was from the owner of my LQS. I saw her a few weeks later and asked if her email account was fixed and she said they were still working on it, whoever does this know what they are doing UNFORTUNATLEY.

Great response! I am still laughing..wish you lived nearby..would love to have you in our sewing circle!!!

PS: SCAMs are terrible and glad we all watch out for each other. I am also tired of all of the phone calls and mail begging for money. I got a call from a "Professional Fund Raiser" at 10:30pm the other night. I will no longer answer a call if I don't recognize the caller's name.

This is really a dumb place to try to scam money. We never have any left from our addiction.

Well, at least she is consistent with spreading the JOY! She has that in each one of her screen names. Ann in TN

It's sad, we wouldn't have scammers if so many people didn't fall for them. But coming right out and asking for money....I don't have money....I have fabric!!!! And I would share that with someone I knew, but won't share my money! That is sew not cool!!!

I let Patrice know--I got it too!

That one has been around a while--they are getting more creative however.
