I know this might sound weird, but all the hustle and bustle and time crunches involved really make it fun for me. So do I have a lot to do....yeah...but I love it! Just makes me smile! (Maybe I'm an elf from another life!)

So however you want to count it down, if you are like me . . . . OMG I need to get started with that sewing!!!!!!!!!!!
I have most of mine done, working on them hot and heavy the past several months; 11 queen-size quilts completed, 4 throws; one more queen to go, some table runners to do, but I'm getting there!

I still have 4 quilts to make yet. Today I will be cutting out the fabric pieces and making kits for each quilt. Tomorrow I will get started on sewing the kits together.

Making Christmas gifts this year, tyed blanket for principal at school completed. Quilts for 2 teachers, one just needs the binding, the other almost tacked and then the backing. Scrub shirts for my sister not started yet. I wanted to make Christmas place mats and won't make it this year. Quilt for new great niece due date of Dec. 12 need to quilt and binding. In the mean time we have a 9th birthday party, Cub scout camping trip, shower for the great niece, Thanksgiving and I have started a part time job. Am I being too hopeful to get it all done.

I have 7 grandchildren. We will all be together for Christmas this year. I made the goal early in the year to make each one of the grandchildren a quilt for Christmas. I did it! They are all done! I am very happy with all of them. The one I made for the youngest is not my favorite but it has no batting and is just pretty squares with a minky backing. I did not want it to be too heavy for her to carry around with her. Any other projects I get done are bonuses!
