    Yes the corner stones are 1/2". Yes I figured it out for one time.
    Love your log cabin you have in your greeting picture. I found it in the miniature page. So small. I love it!

    You should join the doll quilt swap for February that is hosted by Chele. Sign up is usually around the third week of previous month. Lots of creative juices in that swap.

    Thanks, almond. Like you I make my own designs by taking a larger idea and downsizing--so does jillnjo. Often when I start mine, I use "precut" pieces--in other words leftovers in my scrap bins ranging from 3/4" to 2". I never know how they will turn out or what colors I will be using. I very seldom cut pieces to make a specific design. You could say they are all scrappy.
