With any sport, you pick your favorite & pull for them. Makes it more interesting! Used to like Jeff Gordon, now pull for Kevin Harvick who lives within 15 minutes from us.

AND if you ever go to a race, it adds to the interest. Martinsville VA raceway is 45 minutes away. We have introduced several friends to that experience.

was watching Nascar Monday night, taping Two and a Half Men, and hubby says ROADKILL COOK OFF is on.
BIZARRE FOODS AMERICA ... I said switch to it, Nascar will still be on when it is over. Hubby from WV & roadkill is not just for breakfast anymore (((( UGH

Its been some kind of race if they ever get it finished, accidents, car hits one of the yellow trucks and gasoline goes up, now can they finish the race with damage to the pavement? They have about 109 races in out of the 200, and watch the rains are coming back in also. Are they having too much fun with this race or what?

I'm very sorry, but at 9:50 I told DH that this could be one of the fastest Daytona races ever. Then the fire. Hope I get to bed soon.

Jeff Gordon fan, but will root for any Hendrick Motors car.

It's on at my house and I can hear it but I'm not really watching. I really don't have a favorite.

Well, it is Tuesday morning. We didn't get to sleep until after 1:00 AM. Watched the race. Earnhardt came in second. We wanted him to win. Took a while to fall asleep and then at 4:00, Miss Bess started whining and good morning, here I am!!!!!!!! Edie

That fire was amazing. I was switching back and forth, watching the race and giving updates to my husband who had to work. I am surprised it didn't do more damage to the track. glad eveyone is okay. Can't wait till Aug Bristol race!

I'm so envious of all of you who were able to watch. Can anyone tell me who won & top finishers? Race ended too late for results in this am's paper. Don't know if results will be in tomorrow's paper; it doesn't give much NASCAR information. Guess they like talking about Derek Rose's back more.
