It's amazing how the news media keeps missing Tennessee. Guess it wasn't large enough. A loss is a loss.

How horrible! I just cannot see how those people affected can keep it together, but I pray that they do.

Clarksville is about 20 miles south of Henryville where lots of damage occurred, she is probably ok. Nearly every building in Henryville and Marysville was damaged. Fourteen deaths in Indiana - 38 in the 3 state area according to reports.

Clarksville is fine. It's right on the river and Henryville is several miles north of that.

We went to our favorite winery yesterday and it's probably 2-3 miles from Henryville. The owner said it came so close to them the ground shook and they could hear the trees breaking off!! He was very quiet yesterday and I'm sure he was thinking how close it was for his winery and farm, in their family for over 100 years, to have been totally destroyed.

I feel so bad for those people. The stories are horrible. A toddler was found by herself in a field. Her entire family was killed and she is in critical condition. Another family had their four year old son sucked out of their arms. There are 2-3 families where everyone was killed. Now to make it harder, the temperatures have dropped and it's snowing! We're supposed to get a couple inches tonight.

I was glued to the tv watching and it was so scary, all you could do is pray and still pray. I could not imagine living through that, we have earthquakes and fires here but does not seem to be as scary. My friends daughter was in the basement at Belmont, my dad lives in Jackson Co WV and was in the direct path of a tornado but was lucky enough to have been spared. I pray for all that have been hurt and impacted by the tornadoes.
