    This is my question also. If it is for a bed, I would put the top on the bed and place the applique where you want it to be. If it is a lap size, placement is not as critical.

    I'd either move the coneflower stalk down and over to the right a bit or add another smaller one (placed a little further down, too) just left of center. Great quilt!
