    What a great idea. It will be a treasured keepsake! My brother passed away a year ago May and I'm currently making two lap quilts for my sister-in-law from his jeans and shirts. He passed before their first grandchild was born so I'm sneaking in a third quilt for the grandson of Grand Pop's shirts and jeans. I've not yet told her that I'm including this in her package. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

    The grandmother loved the great outdoors. She was a turkey hunter, and a turkey is included in the aplique..
