    That is the best Navy or any other military quilt I've seen. I think it is a wonderful tribute to your son, and I ,too can see it being past down and treasured by many generations. The label will be perfect; just like the rest of the quilt. Please thank your son for me for his service to our great country.

    I have been watching your progress with this quilt and it turned out amazing! Just use your heart with your label as you did with your quilt and it will be fine. As the mother of a Marine, please thank him and his wife for their many years of service!

    Sewfine, You did a wonderful job on your sons quilt. Where did you find the Navy fabric? My daughter is an Industrial Hygienist (Safety Officer) and I would love to make her something with it. Thank you for sharing it with us.

    Default Navy Quilt Label

    Just at the end of making the label, I was trying to kill a fly and bent my embroidery foot. I had to attach a small label with my name on it and hand embroidery the date on it. What a bummer. Hope it looks ok. Thanks to all for your wonderful comments.
