    They are beautiful. I think I would keep the quilting to mostly outlining on the face and the hat and then maybe do heavier quilting on the background. I agree that I would experiment with a sample first!

    I agree with DogHouseMom. Echo quilting from the faces out to the sides of the blocks. A pretty sashing between them would be nice.

    Your drawings are beautiful. I would love to be able to draw on fabric - not that talented. I would be careful to not have the quilting outdo/overwhelm the drawings. Your drawings will be the star of this quilt, not the quilting. Good luck.
