    Honchey ....... hahahaha!!!!

JanRN ... if that's what you can do with very little practice, then OMG, you're going to be phenomenal with practice! There's nothing wrong with tracing your design on to follow!

Oh great blocks everyone. That quilting is just getting better and better Jan! Your quilt is going to be wonderful, as is everyones! I'm anxious to get home so I can work on my blocks and get caught up. It will be Friday or Saturday, depending on the weather. Lots of rain in the forecast here.

Oksewglad...your fabric choices for both blocks really compliment one another. Glad you had some time in the sewing room between milking and running errands.
JanR....you've also captured a nice feeling with your fabric choices but you really sealed the deal with your quilting. I'm with Honchey, much rather cut and piece.
Honchey, your block literally comes to life with that bucking bronco. Perfect fussy cutting. I do like the quilt that you're donating. I too think that you'll get lots if tickets.

Wow what beautiful blocks this week. I spent one day last week sewing blocks into rows and trying to make sense of the fabric I have left. Thought I had been very productive ha ha, I only managed to get one block made.
So tomorrow I plan on getting the other block made for this week
It is wonderful to read the chatter and feel everyones enthusiasm for each other

I did however get this finished this week, it is sideways on the clothes line. I made it for my DS and gave it to him last night.
It was a kit I purchased from Keepsake Quilting
I will post a thread in the Pictures section but wanted to show my friends first, hope you like it

JanRN I did the quilting on this one, it is just a swirly design but to keep it sort of straight across the quilt, I sectioned the quilt top into rows with safety pins and did my own sort of edge to edge quilting, hope that makes sense.

Mirabelle...what a beautiful quilt. I echo Jan...how do you get so much done? Most days I sew 5-6 hours and don't have too many finished quilts to show for it. Maybe that's my problem. I love the piecing but not the quilting so not to much gets actually finished. You are much more balanced and disciplined no doubt.

MiraB ... OMG that quilt is ever so lovely! Everytime we think you have shown us a beauty, the next one is even better! Great quilting ... what sort of a machine are you using?

And look at the FC and even stitching for that striped fabric! Your PC is going to be amazing when put together.
